Millikin Place is a private street on the near west side of Decatur. Of the seven homes on Millikin Place, three are considered Prairie School architectural masterpieces. This view shows the Robert Mueller House and Garage at 1 Millikin Place. Built in 1909-10, the home was that of Robert Mueller, a partner in the Mueller Company who was very active in civic and social affairs. Architect Frank Lloyd Wright was given the commission for the Mueller House, but the project was taken on by Marion Mahony, Wright
