By facing the end-grain of the wood vertically, your knives stay sharper and your cutting board lasts longer. It also helps prevent bacteria build-up on the board. The addition of rubber feet helps prevent slipping, promotes air circulation under the bottom of your cutting board, and protects your countertop from the force of chopping.

This gorgeous pastry board from Ironwood measures 23.75 x 17.25 x 1.25 inches / 60 x 44 x 3cm is made from stunning acacia wood that is known for its unique and natural contrasting patterns. The pastry board is double sided with one flat side for rolling dough and one grooved side for carving meat. The Lyon pastry board is made for heavy duty use and is long lasting. The board is very easy to maintain and you can clean it with warm soapy water.
